Unravel
Unravel yourself
In pieces to me
Till your sweetness
Lays upon my tongue.
Let me see the beauty
Of your night.
The way the moon
Illuminates the imperfect
Lines on your face.
Unfold your heart
Into the palms
Of my wanting hands
Revealing everything
Along the folds that
You feel you must hide
To belong to me,
To be loved
in this world.
I am not a child,
And I do not wish for fairy tales
Of glittering castles and gowns.
Instead, one glimpse
If what is raw and real
Revealed
Satisfies a lifetime
Of my curiosity.
And too,
Bring me also truly to you.
Bare skin.
Place your trembling lips
To the mouth of
My unsheathed soul
and taste.
Leave the subtle alchemy
of what remains
to its own devices,
its own fusion,
Offering only,
Witness.
